Alena Lassen, MSSA, LSW

I’m Alena, a licensed social worker with a Master’s in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University. I offer my client a trauma-informed space to process emotions safely. I have provided trauma-informed care to individuals who have experienced childhood trauma, sexual abuse, intimate partner violence, and grief.

I am an eclectic therapist who frequently incorporates multiple approaches into my practice. I have a certificate in EMDR therapy from the Institute for Creative Mindfulness, and have additionally trained in the Flash technique. I also incorporate approaches such as DBT and CBT in my approach. I am dedicated to providing a culturally sensitive, person-centered approach in order to support individual clients in finding empowerment and healing.
