Dr. Gabor Maté describes healing as “the movement toward wholeness,” a perspective that deeply informs my work as a trauma-informed, person-centered therapist. I work with adults navigating trauma, life transitions, grief, anxiety, depression, and the lasting impact of experiences that required you to disconnect from yourself in order to survive. I believe therapy can be a place to soften, exhale, and return to yourself; as well as a space to feel seen, supported, and no longer alone in what you carry. My hope is to support you in moving toward greater authenticity, embodiment, self-trust, and alignment.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in honoring the inherent dignity and humanity of each person. I integrate EMDR, somatic and embodiment-based practices, Internal Family Systems-informed parts work, existential, and DBT approaches to support meaningful and lasting change. In our work together, you can expect warmth, curiosity, patience, and a touch of humor as we create space for insight, release, healing, and growth.
Outside of the therapy room, you can often find me spending time with my husband and dog, enjoying nature through running and hiking, attending hot yoga classes, traveling, reading, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
