Baylee Evans, LISW
Mental Health & Counseling located in Ohio City, Cleveland, OH
Hi! I’m Baylee, a licensed independent social worker. I specialize in treating adults and adolescents who are navigating anxiety, depression, disordered eating, trauma, relationships, sexuality, and identity. In my practice, I strive to provide person centered, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed care. With a strengths-based approach to therapy, I believe you are the expert on your lived experience. I am here to provide a safe and supportive space, while offering new strategies and perspectives to facilitate growth and healing.
After four years of working as an eating disorder therapist, I have experience treating clients with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, and OSFED. I am a HAES (health at every size) aligned clinician who believes all foods fit and there is no wrong way to have a body. I am committed to supporting clients to heal their relationships with food and their bodies.
As a queer clinician, I am deeply passionate about providing safe, affirming, and supportive mental health care to folks in the LGBTQ+ community. I'm a firm believer that queer joy is an act of resistance and gender affirming healthcare has the power to save lives.
If you are seeking a therapist to support you in your journey to healing, empowerment, building confidence, or identity exploration, I believe we could be a wonderful match. I provide both in-person and virtual options depending on what feels most comfortable and accessible for you.
Outside of my role as a therapist, I enjoy hanging out with my two rescue pit bulls, hosting weekly craft nights, and shopping at local flea markets and thrift stores.
